At the Board of Trustees meeting on 15 September, HRH Prince Michael of Kent and Mr. Jean-Yves Ollivier, Founding Chairman, welcomed Mrs. Martine Chayriguès (France), M. Tim Perry (United Kingdom) and M. Kishore Sakhrani (Canada) as the new trustees of the Brazzaville Foundation.
In line with the requirements of the Charity Commission and current practices in NGOs in the United Kingdom, the Board of Trustees plays a key role in the governance of the Brazzaville Foundation. It ensures the efficiency of its management and the accomplishment of its mission, as defined in its statutes.
Strengthening the Board's skills, these three personalities will share their expertise in communication strategy (Martine Chayriguès), law (Tim Perry) and business management (Kishore Sakhrani).
In addition, this meeting provided an opportunity to warmly thank M. Oliver Scutt (United Kingdom), who has stepped down as a Trustee. His invaluable support, particularly in legal matters, and his presence at several thematic activities have been very appreciated over the last two years. He will remain active among the Friends of the Foundation. The two other Trustees present at this September meeting are M. Charles Carr, Treasurer (United Kingdom), and M. Nicholas Chance (United Kingdom).
